Every stage is adapted to suit each individual client, project and site.
Brief
Site visit and initial meeting. Developing the brief with the client, identifying aspirations, requirements and discussing budget, programme and time constraints.
Proposal
Every fee proposal is tailored to each individual project and will outline fees and proposed scope of works.
Concept Design and Space Planning
Dimension survey of the site, Outline plan proposals and initial ‘look & feel’ imagery.
Developed and Detailed Design
Working collaboratively with you (the client), the contractor and other consultants – layouts and concept designs are developed through drawings and sketch visuals. Materials and finishes are explored, creating mood boards for each space and specifications for finishes, fittings, furniture, lighting and equipment. Concept design for any bespoke joinery and specialist pieces are drawn up. The project budget gets updated simultaneously by obtaining trade quotations from suppliers and manufacturers and liaising directly with the contractor. Any required statutory approvals are also dealt with at this stage (planning applications and building control)
Detailed design intent drawings, including floor plans (finishes, lighting and small power layouts) sections, elevations and details on a larger scale. We also coordinate information from specialist suppliers, craftsmen and other consultants.
Construction
Provide site support and undertake site visits. Snagging and quality control is carried out after practical completion.
